As for the film “Ghost in the Cell,” starring many leading actors including Abimana Aryasatya, Bront Palarae and others, it tells the story set in one of Indonesia’s prisons, where the inmates’ daily lives are steeped in violence, and the already-tense atmosphere grows more heated and terrifying when an unseen, supernatural presence begins brutally killing inmates. As the death toll keeps rising, everyone must confront an inexplicable fear and find a way to survive the bloody events within this prison’s walls

Joko Anwar, one of Asia’s leading horror directors, blends horror, tension, and his own signature brand of humor in “Ghost in the Cell.” The film Ghost in the Cell also held its World Premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, one of the world’s leading international film festivals, and topped the Indonesia Box Office, drawing in over 1 million viewers in just its first week — further proof of just how big this film has become
