Shinesaeng Ad.Venture Steps Up Its Film Business, Launches New Unit ‘Common Ground’ to Build on Its Success
“Shinesaeng Ad.Venture” presses forward with a full-scale push into the film business, launching a new business unit, “Common Ground,” to elevate the development of quality new ideas and content, joining forces with strategic partners to strengthen its business and investment capabilities, with the goal of building collaboration between creators and industry partners in production, investment and distribution alike, to help push Thai content to expand into wider markets, both domestically and internationally, on a strong foundation.
This launch of a new unit builds on the success of the film “Our House,” which grossed 130 million baht , proving that teaming up with capable partners and strategic ideas can truly connect to create a new phenomenon with audiences. To build on this success, Shinesaeng Ad.Venture is moving forward to establish “Common Ground” as a Business Unit, creating a Co-Production Hub that opens up space for directors, writers and creators to jointly develop film projects — from concept development and screenwriting through to systematically connecting with partners in investment, production and distribution — while remaining open to collaboration with like-minded partners to help drive quality projects into reality over the long term
Under the new unit “Common Ground,” Shinesaeng Ad.Venture moves forward to join forces with partners, reaffirming the strength of this collaboration by announcing a lineup of Thai films that reflects a diverse approach to Thai content — expanding its portfolio of success into a lineup that aims not only to raise quality and entertainment value, but also to tell stories with real identity, paired with marketing campaigns designed to deliver a new kind of entertainment experience in every dimension for audiences. All the films are scheduled to open between 2026 and 2027
- The film “Prasert,” a big-budget action-drama, a collaboration project between Shinesaeng Ad.Venture and Kongkiat Production, directed by Kongkiat Komsiri (Our House), starring Num Kanchai, Weir Sukollawat and Too Phoptorn, tells the story of a car rental company owner who serves clients in the criminal underworld. When he happens to witness a murder he shouldn’t have seen, he and his family become the target of a ruthless gang
- As for the film “NO CALLER ID” Shinesaeng Ad.Venture teams up with STRIPPERS FILMS on this supernatural thriller, telling the story of a medium who loses her father and sister to a massive call-center gang network. Pushed to her absolute limit, she uses her spiritual powers to seek revenge. Starring Pleng Chontida and Sanya Kunakorn, it marks the feature film debut of Napat Taliangkapun, an experienced advertising director
- The film “Bua”, which Shinesaeng Ad.Venture is co-distributing with Kongkiat Production, is another intriguing project — a warm, moving coming-of-age film set in the 1970s, telling the journey of a young girl heading to Bangkok in search of her missing mother, capturing both the harshness of life and the experience of growing up amid a pivotal period of transition in Thai history. It is co-directed by Sai-Inthira Charoenpura and Pensiri Klangsurin, starring newcomer Jory Onpreeya and Wan Chanin
- “ALL FORGOTTEN NOW”, an intense action-thriller born from a collaboration between Shinesaeng Ad.Venture and Wanniwandee Studio, from director Kittichai Wanprasert, starring Bella Ranee, Peter Nopachai and Nat Kitcharit
Mr. Chaiwat Mingmai, Chief Executive Officer of Shinesaeng Ad.Venture Co., Ltd., said, “The launch of the new unit ‘Common Ground’ marks another important step for Shinesaeng Ad.Venture in building a business structure ready to support the future growth of the film industry. We’re not just thinking about film production, but about building a system that helps new ideas get developed continuously, on a strong foundation and with a clear process, because we believe that work that resonates with audiences needs the right structure to help those ideas grow into projects with real business potential
Throughout its history, Shinesaeng Ad.Venture has run a business covering marketing, distribution and film production, giving the company a complete view of the industry across every dimension — from audience behavior and market mechanics to the needs of creative professionals. This further reaffirms that having a shared space that systematically connects creativity, expertise and business opportunity would help good projects develop continuously and be built on even further
This launch of a new unit is therefore not just an expansion of Shinesaeng Ad.Venture’s role, but also reflects the company’s intention to build a structure that supports the long-term development of Thai film projects. ‘Common Ground’ will serve as a space open to behind-the-scenes talent, partners and investors to take part in jointly developing quality projects, built on confidence in the potential of Thai filmmakers, Thai stories, and the opportunity for Thai content to grow both domestically and internationally.”
At the same time, Shinesaeng Ad.Venture took part in the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, held from 17–20 March 2026, one of the key stages for the Asian content industry, to expand its network of business partners, exchange perspectives on regional film market trends, and open the door to ongoing new collaborations — another key driver in pushing forward quality projects and laying a solid foundation for Thai content to grow steadily
