Shinesaeng Ad.Venture Officially Unveils the First Trailer for ‘Power Ballad’

When it comes to contemporary music films, the name “John Carney” is one of the directors many people always trust — from Once, Begin Again and Sing Street, to his latest work, packed with the charm of music, relationships, and feelings that reach straight into the audience’s heart

This time, he’s back with “Power Ballad”, a film that still keeps music at the heart of its story, gradually inviting audiences to discover a certain meaning together through a new experience driven by music. Most recently, “Shinesaeng Ad.Venture” has officially unveiled the first trailer for everyone to watch

Because sometimes a single song doesn’t just offer beauty — it also leaves behind certain questions. Beneath the melody, this story doesn’t only let audiences experience the beauty of the music, but gradually reveals another side of simple feelings that hide something full of meaning. On a stage where every song…might be hiding something. When Paul Rudd, an ordinary wedding singer, meets Nick Jonas, a former famous boy-band member, from writing a song together in a single night comes a life-changing hit song…belonging to ‘just one person.’

Recently, John Carney, Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas together unveiled “Power Ballad” at its World Premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival, before the film moves on to reach an even wider audience through its screening at SXSW, the film, music and creative culture festival held in Austin, Texas, USA, further cementing “Power Ballad” as one of this year’s most closely watched music films
