The song “Huang Rak” was brought back as the film’s theme song, with lyrics written by Boyd Kosiyabhand, the legendary godfather of Thai love songs

Noi Pru revealed his feelings, delighted that the song “Huang Rak” had been brought back to life. The song is built mainly around the piano, with a concept like the love between “a young man” and “a young woman.” Noi recalls that when he asked Boyd Kosiyabhand to write this song, he was thinking of the moment when the moon and the sun meet — the moment when the sun is setting and the moon is rising, when the sky turns shades of purple. We can only enjoy a view this beautiful for a short while, and it reflects a love whose happiest moments are brief, because in the end the moon and the sun can never stay together — much like many loves in life

As for shooting the music video this time, it’s the first time in four years we’ve shot an MV for one of our own songs. When I saw the set today I was amazed — it’s so beautiful. Dee Paphangkorn, the director, hadn’t told me the set would include a cabin, built out in full with snow as well. Dee loves this film; he made it with such delicate care. I’d love for people to try listening to this song in a stripped-down piano version and let themselves sink into the film ‘Inhuman Kiss 2’ — I think it fits together nicely,”

Dee Paphangkorn Poonjuntaraks, the film director, the moment he heard this song, felt moved by it right away

“Toward the end of filming, Noi sent me four or five songs to listen to, and one of them was the song “Huang Rak.” It felt like a young man and a young woman. The moment I heard it I was moved right away. “Huang Rak” is a romantic song, but with a touch of sadness — the melody and Noi’s voice sound almost heartbroken, and it feels lonely. It’s about a parting where both sides are left with a lasting impression, savoring love even in a brief moment — it really touched me.

For the set, I built an abandoned cabin in the middle of the snow. This land could be heaven, or some planet that’s nothing but empty, quiet, and freezing cold — but no matter how hopeless it is, there’s still a light of love shining through. I wanted everything to be white, to represent the pure love of the characters in the story. As for directing Noi’s emotion in the MV, I let him channel his own inner feeling into the song, but at the same time we still had him be Noi Pru,” said Dee.
