“Bua”, Thai Film, Selected for Vision – Asia at the 31st Busan International Film Festival

“Bua” a film from Shinesaeng Ad.Venture together with Kongkiat Production and North Star Production, a Thai film, has been selected for Vision – Asia at the 31st Busan International Film Festival (The 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF)), set to take place from 6–15 October 2026 in Busan, South Korea.

“Bua” is a coming-of-age film set in the 1970s, telling the story of a young girl's journey to Bangkok in search of her missing mother. It is co-directed by Sai-Inthira Charoenpura and Pensiri Klangsurin, starring newcomer Jory Onpreeya and Van Chanin.

Vision – Asia is one of the programmes of the 31st Busan International Film Festival, featuring 11 selected Asian films, including “Bua” from Thailand, joining to share another voice and perspective of contemporary Asian cinema on the international stage.
