Neramitnung Film – Shinesaeng Ad.Venture Invite You to Dream of ‘Nicolas Cage’ in ‘DREAM SCENARIO,’ Now Showing

Neramitnung Film and Shinesaeng Ad.Venture unveiled the dark comedy starring the face of Nicolas Cage, welcoming press and popular film pages to the PRESS SCREENING of “DREAM SCENARIO: Dream of Me Tonight”, the latest work from A24, with executives led by Kanokwan Watchara, Chief Executive Officer of Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd., and Chaiwat Mingmai, Chief Executive Officer of Shinesaeng Ad.Venture Co., Ltd. together with Panu Aree, Chief International Distribution Officer of Neramitnung Film Co., Ltd. and Chalit Krailertmongkol from Fatcat Studios attending the event at Major Cineplex Ratchayothin on Tuesday 12 December

DREAM SCENARIO: Dream of Me Tonight is written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli of Sick of Myself, who revealed: “I sent the script to Nic Cage to read. After he finished reading it, he felt like he really understood the character of Paul Matthews — as if living in a society where other people’s opinions get to decide what kind of person you are, given all the fame that came crashing in from his acting career, along with the scandals and countless rumors during his career slump” (such as having to take mostly B-movies because of debt, and over-the-top acting mannerisms that became memes people mocked everywhere).

Nicolas Cage brings a convincing authenticity to the character. At the same time, Nic Cage grew up in a family well known in academic circles — his father was a professor — so the role of Paul isn’t too far removed from himself.

Everything about the DREAM SCENARIO project made it a great opportunity for Nicolas Cage, who was ready to take part in this strange new story

“It’s genuinely groundbreaking — not just my character, but everything about this film. It felt like stepping into the director’s mind and thoughts, then making something that can’t really be clearly categorized into any one genre. That was truly the most important thing for me in making this film,” Nicolas Cage said.
